• Plain Water

Water is great and you should drink lots of it! But, water alone doesn't do enough to replace key electrolytes and minerals.

  • Traditional Sports Drinks

Disgusting! One serving of Gatorade contains 34 grams of added sugar. Very low on actual electrolytes and loaded with sketchy ingredients. Nutritionally equivalent to a soda.

  • "Sugar Free" Powders or Drinks

These rely on synthetics and isolated nutrients. Most have a chemical taste or terrible aftertaste. Also, some glucose is neccessary for proper electrolyte absorption, so these don't work very well.

  • Other Electrolyte Powders

Look closely at the ingredients in other powders. You will see things like dextrose, cane juice, maltodextrin...these are all sneaky names for added sugar. You will also see a lot of cheap isolated nutrients like citric acid, zinc picolinate, and sodium citrate. Maybe even "natural flavors"...but what actually is that? Here at Hydrata we are proud of all our ingredients. And you will recognize every single one.

Less Sugar - Key For Your Health

Zero Added Sugars

Hydrata Original has just 6 grams of sugar per serving. All from natural sources like berries and cherries. This is the optimal amount of glucose for proper fluid absorption. Competitors use added sugar or even worse...fake sugars.

The List of NOs

No added sugars or sweeteners

It is true that some sugar is needed in the form of glucose for proper hydration. The problem is that our competitors go overboard with real and fake sugars. Look closely at the ingredients and nutrition label.

No isolated nutrients

Isolated nutrients are present in basically every other hydration beverage. Look for citric acid, monopotassium phosphate, zinc picolinate, and many others. These are all processed and may not be natural. We stick to whole foods for our nutrients. Better recognized and absorbed by our bodies.

No chemicals or synthetics

Synthetic nutrients and chemicals are present in many competitive powders. We don't use any.

No flavoring agents

"Natural flavors" is very vague, but many of our competitors use this term. We would rather tell you exactly what you are putting into your body.

No fillers

Cheap fillers are littered in many competitive products, look for things like maltodextrin, fructose, and dextrose....just to name a few.

No preservatives

A lot of electrolyte powders use preservatives to make their products last longer. We don't use any.

Nothing artificial at all

A lot of competitors use artificial colors or flavors to make their product more visually appealing or tasty. We just stick with natural fruits.

Competitors All Rely On Isolated Nutrients

Our bodies can recognize and absorb whole foods, like lemons and cherries, much easier than isolated nutrients. Competitors use these because they are cheap and make a nutrition label look good. Don't be fooled! Try Hydrata for whole-food based hydration.
